Dear Members of All Britain Wado Kai,
Due to the ongoing and unprecedented circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic All Britain Wado Kai (ABWK) has taken the decision to cancel the ABWK technical seminar taking place at the Acorn Centre dated April 25th & 26th 2020.
ABWK apologises for any inconvenience which may be caused to its members by this cancellation. This decision has not been taken lightly but ABWK will always prioritise the health and well-being of all students, instructors and their families as well as the general public.
May I also take this opportunity to inform ABWK members of the postponement of the ABWK 2020 AGM. The AGM was planned for the morning of Saturday 25th April 2020, but it would be unfair to ask members to travel unnecessarily at this juncture.
At this moment in time, the ABWK technical seminar dated July 11th & 12th 2020 will go ahead as planned, but the ABWK management committee will continue to monitor the situation carefully, taking into consideration all official advice and guidelines in tackling this outbreak.
ABWK appreciates your co-operation and understanding during these difficult times and will endeavour to inform members of any changes at the earliest opportunity.
